Bollywood actress Richa Chadda is facing criticism for insulting and mocking the Indian Army in her latest tweet. This comes after the actor reacted to Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi’s statement that the Indian Army is ready to take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi tweeted a statement in reference to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s previous address in which he reiterated New Delhi’s resolve to take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He said that all the refugees will get their land and home back.

In fact, Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi had said on Tuesday that the Indian Army is ready to carry out orders like taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Quoting this statement, Richa Chadha wrote on Twitter, ‘Galwan is saying hi’. After this, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has tweeted and said, ‘Abusive tweet. It should be withdrawn soon, it is not fair to insult our armed forces.
The actress also closed her Twitter account after social media users trolled her for insulting and mocking the security forces.
In 2020, about 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives in a clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh. Several Chinese soldiers were also killed but the number was never confirmed.
